Crispy Baked Tofu

This crispy baked tofu is so easy, quick, and versatile. It comes together in under 30 minutes and just might become your favorite way to make it!


Ingredients

  • 1 block extra firm or firm tofu
  • 2 tablespoons low-sodium tamari or soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Press and cube the tofu: Press the tofu by wrapping it in paper towels or a dish towel and placing something heavy on top for 10-15 minutes. Then, cut it into about 1-inch cubes.
  3. Toss the tofu in marinade: In a tupperware container, add the tamari and olive oil. Then add the tofu and close the lid. Shake it up! Sprinkle on the cornstarch and shake it again until the tofu is evenly coated.
  4. Bake: Place the tofu onto a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes or until crispy.
